GREEN
a play with music
Green first premiered at the Old Red Lion Theatre as part of FreshFest 2025 on February 18. After a successful three night run, Green was invited back to ORL for a week-long run in June with MediumRare Productions jumping on board as a producer.
A recorded version of Green is available upon request.
About the play:
In the claustrophobic green room of a high-profile music tour, rising star Jude and sardonic industry insider Zoe find themselves entangled in a whirlwind of ambition, artifice, and authenticity.
When Jude, an idealistic new artist, falls for pop icon Ben, only to get swept into a fauxmantic PR relationship between Ben and his nepo-baby best friend Zoe, the stage is set for a love triangle shaped more by power than passion. As secrets surface and boundaries blur, Zoe grapples with her place in an industry that sees her as ornamental while Jude must decide what he’s willing to lose in order to live (and love) authentically.
